Kazakhstan received no Jysan Holding papers – Ministry of Finance

Astana. 2nd of March. KazTAG – Alena Subbotina. Kazakh Finance Minister Yerulan Zhamaubaev said that no documents have yet been received on the lawsuit filed by Jysan Holding, which accuses the Kazakh government of conducting a campaign of intimidation.

“So far, we have not received any invitation or any document on this matter. It was an appeal of a foreign jurisdiction, we are sure that they will figure it out and I can’t even comment on what it is,” Zhamaubaev said on the sidelines of the Senate on Thursday.

He also commented on Jysan Holding’s allegations that the government of Kazakhstan was conducting a campaign of intimidation in order to control Kazakhstani assets.

“There has been no action of this kind on the part of the government. Therefore, we think that the court will sort out this process. If necessary, we will (defend our position in the US court – KazTAG),” the minister added.

Recall, the Nevada Corporation Jysan Holding, LLC (“Jysan Holding”) and its English subsidiary Jusan Technologies, Ltd on February 16 filed a lawsuit in the federal district court of Nevada against Kazakhstan. She accuses the government of Kazakhstan of conducting a campaign of intimidation to seize control of more than $1.5 billion in Kazakhstani assets of companies.
