The United States gave Ukraine targets for strikes , including the assassination of Russian generals. The New York Times writes about it.
Information about command posts, ammunition depots and other key nodes on Russian military lines was provided by the United States to Kyiv throughout the hostilities. Operational intelligence allowed the Ukrainians to target Russian troops, kill high-ranking generals and force them to transfer ammunition further from the front line, the newspaper writes.
At the same time, Ukrainian officials themselves did not dare to share their plans with the States, fearing leaks, the author of the article added.
The publication also fears that the leak of secret documents on the preparation of the United States for the offensive of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which originated from the Pentagon, will further weaken the exchange of intelligence between Kiev and Washington.
